Stalking Moab’s Main Street: Day One At EJS 2016 #EJS2016Posted in Moab Experience: 2016 on March 20, 2016
We just got into Moab, Utah, for the 2016 Easter Jeep Safari and this place is rockin’!
Whether it’s your first time or a return trip to the Moab Easter Jeep Safari, you’ll probably roll into town on Main Street. At any given time during the event this road is populated by a vast assortment of incredible 4x4s. They line the roads and pack restaurant parking lots. Aside from the awesome Moab-area trails, Main Street is where you’ll see a parade of vehicles that continues almost non-stop.
We rolled into town in mid-afternoon so we unpacked our camera gear and walked the main drag to get a look at a few of the vehicles. What we saw was a cool collection of rigs. We also saw some scenes that were classic Moab. In other words, unique things that make Moab, Moab. We’ve gathered a few of the photos here in a photo gallery and they’ll give you a look at what Moab was like on Day One as well as some of the vehicles parked and cruising around. We’ve also put together a short video of some of the scenes in Moab today.
This is just Day One! Almost the entire Four Wheeler Network staff has hit the dirt running here in Moab and we’ll be bringing you coverage all week, so check back often!
Downtown Moab has a feel all its own, and it’s populated by lots of 4x4s during Easter Jeep Safari.
It may have Jeep in the title, but EJS also draws plenty of fullsize rigs, like this Bronco.
If you’re a Toyota fan, we saw a number of trail-ready ‘yotas today, including this FJ Cruiser.
We saw several killer vintage Broncos like this one.
Speaking of vintage, this ‘ol Willys had our full attention.
