East Coast Mud Events
We've combined the Worst Stuck and Readers' Rides sections of OFF-ROAD into one glorious celebration of mud and custom trucks titled The Last Page. Send your photos and tales from the local mud pit or river crossing and photos of your truck when it was nice and clean to: OFF-ROAD, 774 S. Placentia Ave., Placentia, CA 92870.
Muddy FunMuddy Run Raceway sent us these fantastic pics from one of its most recent events, the Fall Mud Bash, and gave us a glimpse of all the dirty fun to be had on the East Coast. Photographer Cathy Duttry captured the special Kodak moments, ranging from a side-by-side obstacle course, mud racing, and a 1/2-mile off-road course that pitted competitors against some seriously deep mudholes, jumps, and bumps. This is our kind of fun.
If it had four wheels and ran without exploding, it was legal to race at Muddy Run.
The raceway set up a bitchin' racecourse that featured sick jumps to test the durability of competitor's vehicles. This old-school Ford Bronco gets a healthy amount of hang time while racin'.
Another Bronco wasn't so successful during its race, as it was stopped dead in its tracks by this sizeable mud pit.
