Take 20 Minutes To Learn About Safety
The Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle Association (ROHVA) has a new e-course available to help us understand safety measures that should be taken when operating Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (ROVs). The e-course is available at rohva.org and is free. We didn't want to recommend you take the course without first taking it ourselves. It took us 20 minutes to complete the course from the time we signed up for an account to completion. It is filled with safety information, laws, videos, vehicle information and photography. We learned a great deal of information in those 20 minutes and suggest you do the same. And there's a chance that some of off-road community could use a dose of common sense and safety from time to time.

Bestop Now On Youtube
Reading instructions are a thing of the past in today's digital age. Nearly everyone has a cellular phone that will shoot high-resolution photos and video which makes sharing information easy. Bestop has taken that cue and kicked it up a notch with its very own YouTube channel, which contains a wealth of videos covering the installation of a great number of its products. With more than 20 videos already online, Bestop will no doubt, by the time you read this, double that number. Bestop also plans on sharing employee excursions just like the Moab video already featured online.
A few of the videos already up include Bestop's new tonneau covers, HighRock 4x4 bumpers, PowerBoards and Replace-A-Top installations. Upcoming videos include a Supertop installation, Colorado Trail video, Lockbox product overview and more. We hope other companies take a lesson from Bestop and introduce more helpful how-to videos of their own.

Bfgoodrich Names New 2010 Outstanding Trails
Located in the high peaks of central Colorado, the Holy Cross Trail was honored by BFG, as one of the 2010 Outstanding Trails. Off-road enthusiasts and local members of the Big Horn Jeep club were in attendance as BFG presented a grant to the club's president. The grant will be used to preserve the scenic trail and continue conservation efforts for one of America's most beautiful areas for off-roading.
BFGoodrich Tires, working in conjunction with Tread Lightly! and United Four Wheel Drive Associations (UFWDA), chose the Holy Cross trail because of its beauty and the challenge it presents to off-road enthusiasts. The Holy Cross trail has a rating of eight (and some areas are considered a nine) out of 10.
The Big Horn Jeep club is a not-for-profit organization that adopted Holy Cross in the late 1970s. During the summer season, the club provides annual maintenance on the trail in order to keep it accessible to all outdoor enthusiasts. Maintenance usually consists of cleaning the trail of branches, newly fallen rocks, or any other debris that may have landed on the trail.
Aside from Holy Cross, four other trails were named to the program for 2010, including: Rausch Creek, Pennsylvania; Drummond Island, Michigan; Yacolt, Washington; and Johnson Valley, California.
