Fullsize Invasion Heading to Moab
Depending on when you’re reading this, there might very well be a huge number of fullsize trucks in the Moab, Utah, rocks right now! On April 4, 2012, OFF-ROAD and Four Wheeler magazines are joining forces to run the Poison Spyder trail with as many fullsize trucks as possible. The gathering should make for quite an entertaining show and a great reintroduction of fullsizes into Moab after years of rare sightings.
On February 5, 2012, the Smittybilt Every Man Challenge (EMC) ended in an impressive and inspiring victory as John Currie won overall in a stock class Jeep Wrangler (beating out all the Modified class entries). While the Griffin King of the Hammers (KOH) demands not only incredible driving prowess but also cutting-edge technology, Currie demonstrated the EMC is truly a driver’s race.
On February 11, 2012, Erik Miller crossed the finish line to be crowned the 2012 King of the Hammers in the main event race. Considered the toughest one-day off-road race, the KOH race is a grueling one that only 49 actually finished. Miller beat out 134 competitors to win the coveted title and $25,000 prize purse.
