Chevrolet unveiled its brand-new midsize 2015 Colorado truck at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week, confident of its versatility and capability amongst a midsize truck market that could arguably use some fresh competition. The Colorado is targeting the crossover SUV market, hoping to appeal to the adventurous-spirited who want truck-like capability and roomy bed storage but don’t necessarily need the towing capacity or largeness offered by a fullsize or heavy duty truck. As seen by this concept Colorado show truck, also shown at the LA Auto Show, the Colorado can be nicely accessorized for adventure, whether it be a sandy beach camping trip or a snowy mountain expedition or a nice trail run to the secret fishing spot. On the West Coast, both beach and mountains could be an option for the same day! For sunrise surfing and sunset snowboarding, the Colorado is equipped due to its standard 193hp 2.5L I-4 and available 302hp 3.6L V-6 and 6,700 pound trailering capacity. The Colorado goes on sale in fall 2014. Unfortunately, a Lifeguard beach patrol Colorado may not be an option for the general public, but surely Mitch Buchanan and a counterpart Baywatch girl could have gotten away with it!
