Off-Road Racing is probably about the gnarliest form of motorsport in the world and no other form of competition brings the action to the fans quite like Short Course off-road racing. It’s a league where the drivers are as competitive as they come and aren't afraid of pushing each other around when battling for the win. It also doesn't hurt that Short Course racing has a ton of high flying action mixed in with wide open power slides through off-camber corners. Most of the time, the only real way to watch these off-road spectacles is by sitting in the stands watching all the dirt and dust flying across the track.
Lucky for you, we’re bringing you more of this rough and tumble high-octane race action where rubbin’ really is racing, thanks to the new found partnership between the Motor Trend Channel and the The Off-Road Championship (TORC) racing series which means you’ll be able to indulge in all the race action via live broadcasts of the entire 2014 TORC series.
“We are delighted to bring the best in short-course, off-road racing to our viewership,” said Angus MacKenzie, Chief Content Officer for Source Interlink Media, publisher of Motor Trend. “We’re taking a very serious, best-in-class approach to distribute the most exciting content, and the addition of TORC reinforces that commitment. Their vision for off-road racing, mixed with an innovative digital and social media strategy is a perfect match for where we’re headed with the channel.”
This partnership represents the first time that the Motor Trend YouTube channel will broadcast live coverage of a motorsports series. Fans can expect a fully produced web broadcast that will bring them all 14 rounds of racing from the 2014 TORC season.
Stay tuned as we bring you more coverage from the TORC Season opener and be sure to watch all the live race action right here beginning on Saturday and Sunday at 1 pm!
