AEV Builds 2015 Ram 2500 Cummins Off-Road Truck for SEMA ShowPosted in News on October 31, 2014
The SEMA Show is a place where we go every year to check out the latest and greatest in the off-road industry as well as the truck world in general and last year we were pretty impressed with American Expedition Vehicles’ (AEV) Ram Concept truck with features a host of prototype AEV components that allowed it to clear some massive tires while giving it real world off-road performance in a well rounded package.
This year, AEV is bringing out an even wilder truck build. This 2015 Ram 2500 is chock full of AEV’s product line to make this truck a perfect addition for any adventurer that likes to venture off the beaten path often. This jaw-dropping 2015 Ram 2500 features AEV’s Front Bumper, 3-inch lift DualSport Suspension System, Raised Air Intake System, High Clearance Fender Flares and 17x10-inch Katla wheels wrapped in massive 41-inch Super Swamper IROK Radial tires.
As if that wasn’t enough, the AEV 2015 Ram 2500 features an awesome Aussie style tray bed and is capable of holding 66 gallons of fuel to allow the torquey 6.7L Cummins turbo-diesel to venture to remote areas without worrying about running on fumes. Since many enthusiasts seem to love the idea of rowing their own in an exploration style rig, AEV built this Ram with a manual transmission behind the 6.7L Cummins.
In addition to the Ram truck, AEV will also have a 470hp 6.4L HEMI-powered Wrangler JK350 fully-outfitted with AEV products including an all new wheel design and ultra-exclusive Filson leather package.
We think this truck is pretty cool and is actually slightly similar to the Mopar Power Wagon concept from a few years back aside from the lack of a bed, this one seems like it would make for the perfect go anywhere chase truck for race teams across Baja during the races.
Stay tuned for more photos of this cool AEV Ram in the coming days right from the floor of the 2014 SEMA Show!
