Jim Ryan To Score
Jim Ryan, the award-winning media executive who has held key management positions with five of the world’s most influential and powerful media communications groups, has been named the SCORE Marketing and Sales Director. SCORE International, based in Reno, Nevada, is the producer and sanctioning body of the SCORE World Desert Championship with races both in Baja California and Southern California.
Ryan, of Long Beach, California, will work directly with SCORE CEO/President Roger Norman. “Jim’s presence will have an immediate positive impact on the growth and development of SCORE in extending the vision we have for the organization,” Norman said.
Commenting on his new position, Ryan said, “I have been aware of and worked with and around SCORE for nearly three decades. I welcome all that this new position involves for me and look forward to working with the SCORE team and family of sponsors.”

Supercross Legend Jeremy McGrath Joins The Rigid Industries Torture Team
Rigid Industries LED Lighting announces Jeremy McGrath Motorsports as the latest addition to its “Torture Team.” McGrath debuted this year as driver and owner of the number 2 Pro 2 truck in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS).
During his Supercross career, McGrath collected 72 race wins and seven overall season championships. McGrath has since turned his competitive fire to off-road truck racing as he is now one of the top drivers in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Pro 2 Unlimited Class (fullsized, two-wheel-drive race trucks).
As part of the partnership, McGrath will run Rigid LED Lighting and his truck will also display the Rigid Industries signature star emblem, often recognized in the dirt and desert racing worlds. Supercross.com named Presenting Sponsor Of Best In The Desert Henderson 250
In a joint announcement, Casey Folks, director of Best in the Desert, and Ryan Poelman, CEO of Supercross.com, announced that Supercross.com will be the presenting sponsor of one of Best In The Desert’s best known off-road event. The race will now be known as The Henderson “250” Presented by Supercross.com.
“We welcome Supercross.com on board as the presenting sponsor of one of the most popular events in the world,” Folks said. “He joins some the leading brands in helping make our series the largest, entry-wise, of any long-distance off-road series.”
