Today, Chevrolet unveiled the '15 Colorado Z71 Trail Boss at the Cleveland Auto Show. The Trail Boss, which will be available in the spring of 2015, will have a starting price of $28,505 plus the package price of $3,320. What do you get for your money? Well, GM says that in addition to the off-road truck suspension package the new Trail Boss will include 265/65R17 Goodyear DuraTrac all-terrain tires, Dark Argent metallic painted cast-aluminum wheels, GearOn moveable cargo tie-down rings, a load bar and cargo divider, black fender flares, and front and rear black Chevy Bowtie logos. Additional features include a G80 automatic locking rear differential, transfer case shield, front-mounted recovery hooks, black rocker steps, spray-on bedliner, projector beam headlamps, front fog lamps, and all-weather floormats with Z71 logo. The Trail Boss will be available in extended cab and crew cab configurations, with a choice of long or short cargo bed and available four-wheel drive. Tony Johnson, Colorado marketing manager, says, "It gives owners the gear-carrying ability and versatility they need to venture off-road, with segment-leading efficiency and capability." Suggested retail pricing excludes tax, title, license, dealer fees, and optional equipment. Pricing includes dealer freight charges and option package discounts.
