Robby Gordon Hit a Spectator During the Baja 500 (W/Video)

Three-time Baja 1000 winner Robby Gordon hit a spectator in his Chevrolet trophy truck during this past weekend's SCORE Baja 500 off-road race. The incident occurred as Gordon was battling for the lead with Apdaly Lopez, who eventually won the race.

The accident was caught on video, where you can see Gordon attempting a pass just before the impact. One spectator runs to get out of the way, but Gordon's truck clips him. The last thing we see before the scene is obscured by dust is the struck spectator rolling on the ground. Fox Sports says that there are no official reports of any injuries from the event. However, some unofficial reports suggest the spectator suffered a broken leg.

Judging by the video, the hit wasn't a gentle one. At the moment of impact it looks like an object is sent flying, possibly the spectator's shoe. Watch the video for yourself below, but be warned that it may be too graphic for some viewers.
