With the 2015 SEMA show fast approaching, Transamerican Auto Parts has announced the inaugural “Life is Better Off-Road” SEMA builder award which will be presented at this year’s SEMA Show. The award is open to all off-road vehicles, builders and manufactures and will be judged by a panel of top-notch industry experts who will awarded the most off-road capable truck, Jeep or SUV on display at the SEMA show.

With the off-road segment growing in popularity each year at SEMA, Transamerican Auto Parts’ goal is to present the “Life is Better Off-Road” award to help recognize unique technological achievements and engineering advancements specific to the development of products for Trucks, Jeeps and SUVs.

Transamerican President and CEO Greg Adler said “It is an honor for us to have an opportunity to recognize the builders, fabricators and manufactures who are the driving force behind the impressive growth of the off-road industry with this award, There are so many incredible builds on display at the SEMA Show each year, and we're proud to now be able to distinguish the vehicles that truly represent the best of what off-roading is all about."

The panel of judges including fabricators, journalists, industry personalities and professional off-road racers will select 10 semifinalists from the submitted entries based off a criterion that includes off-road reliability and capability, real-world functionality, quality of craftsmanship and overall vehicle presentation. From the list of semi-finalists, one Jeep and one truck/SUV will be chosen as the two finalists to contend for the “Life is Better Off-Road” award. A custom designed trophy, will be presented by Transamerican Auto Parts President and CEO, Greg Adler, at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 5th at the ProComp / Transamerican Auto Parts Booth #62112 within the SEMA SCORE Baja 1000 Experience Area.

The winner of the first annual award will also receive a cover feature and multi-page vehicle spotlight in ORA Magazine, a professional photo shoot, recognition across the spectrum of Transamerican social media and digital channels, a promotional email campaign highlighting the award and winners, an invitation to be displayed in future locations at TAP-sponsored events, tradeshows, Truck & Jeep Fests, as well as benefitting from the extensive partner media coverage of the award.
