First Ever LOORRS Race In Baja Featured Plenty of Carnage - VideoPosted in News on August 4, 2015
With the stands full of fans to watch the first-ever short-course race south of the border, rounds 11 and 12 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series did not disappoint. The racing action at Estero Beach may have had the most carnage at a LOORRS race ever including, flips, crashes, broken suspension parts and plenty of disappearing fiberglass panels. With a brand new track, round 11 featured the most carnage due to the track not being compacted yet. The loose track led to huge roster tails blinding following drivers, end-over-end flips, and barrel rolls leaving plenty of trucks incapacitated.
The guys at General Tire were right in the middle of all the action and captured a gnarly wreck during the Pro Lite race on camera when Brad DeBerti came out of the whoops section and barrel rolled nearly taking out two other trucks. Check out the clip and why this loose track left plenty of trucks heading for the pits for repairs before the checkered flag was waved.
