It may seem like we talk about land access issues a lot, okay we do, but we have too, it’s vital to our sport and hobby living on. In a recent announcement The United Four Wheel Drive Associations (UFWDA) and the Off-Road Business Association (ORBA) have come to an agreement that will allow the groups to coordinate policy together.
UFWDA and ORBA will work as one to keep lands, roads, and trails open for all off-road enthusiasts while still focusing on their respective missions. With these two national organizations working together it will lead to a cohesive and strong group that will be able to advocate for increased access for off-road vehicles on both public and private lands.
Since both UFWDA and ORBA both have international connections to grassroots groups and businesses and bring years of experience in advocating for land access, their combined voice will create a stronger and more connected message. ORBA’s President and CEO, Fred Wiley says “combining energy, experience and talent with grassroots and business is key for leading and protecting motorized recreation, without a place to recreate there wouldn’t be a market for accessories.”
We’re glad to see these two awesome organizations come together and help fight for land access, so we can continue to wheel in as many places as possible.
