Attention Powerball Winners: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Unimog for Sale

If you have a thing for items owned by celebrities that aren’t undergarments and the difference between $20 and 20,000 is just a comma and a few zeros, then we’ve got the ticket for you. The 1977 Mercedes-Benz Unimog owned by Terminator star (among others) and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is up for sale on eBay. The Buy It Now price, for those with the means, is $350,980, offered by Texas Direct Auto Sales in the Houston suburb of Stafford.

Although titled as a 1977 model, the Governator’s ‘Mog is comprehensively updated with new hardware, including a newer-style gauge cluster with digital odometer, a rear backup camera, a Warn 15,000-pound winch, Hella off-road lights, a tubular steel grille guard, and roll hoop. The seller claims it has full documentation of its authenticity, and the vehicle does show Schwarzenegger’s signature on the dashboard.

The 6.4L I-6 diesel produces a modest 260 hp but a massive 700 lb-ft of torque, more than enough to overcome almost any obstacle that may get in its way. Massive is also an apt descriptor for the Michelin XZL 445/65R22.5 tires. If you can afford the six-figure purchase price, the $1,200 replacement cost for each tire shouldn’t faze you. If this iconic off-roader tickles your fancy, act fast, as bidding closes on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Click the link below for more information.
