Despite last night's cold and wind, a huge crowd lined the canyon of Chocolate Thunder to watch ULTRA4 Racing go head-to-head with the Southern Rock Racing Series (SRRS). GoForth’s 1st place awarded SRRS bragging rights for being the fastest class in the 2016 Vision X ULTRA4 vs. SRRS Shootout Presented by King Off-road Racing Shocks. Also representing SRRS, Joe Pierce was the second fastest at 40.055 seconds. Jason Bartram, was third quickest and awarded $2,500 for being the fastest ULTRA4 Racing driver through the course. 30 competitors of the original 37 were able to complete the event with finishing times.
