Motocross legend and off-road racer Jeremy McGrath expanded his sponsorship deal with Maxxis tires. The recently signed three-year deal includes title sponsorship for McGrath’s Pro-2 truck that races in the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS), as well increasing McGrath’s role with Maxxis to brand ambassador.
McGrath has been involved with Maxxis since a 2014 sponsorship, and besides his racing duties, he has been assisting engineers in the development of motorcycle and race tires. Maxxis is thrilled about the sponsorship expansion. Brad Williams of Maxxis said, “He is such a natural fit for the Maxxis brand. His achievements as a driver and an athlete span the range of tires we offer. His multi-discipline lifestyle makes him the perfect ambassador to showcase Maxxis’ various product lines.” Jeremy was equally ecstatic about Maxxis supporting him while prepping his race truck for the upcoming season at his shop, he said, “Maxxis has been dedicated to my team since day one. Their commitment and passion for racing helped me get on the podium five times last season and to win my first race as a team owner.”
With the 2016 LOORRS season almost here, we’re excited to see how McGrath’s input into the race tires improves his racecourse performance.
