Valley Off Road Racing Purchased by Hammerking ProductionsPosted in News on March 3, 2016
The organization behind the extremely popular King of The Hammers and ULTRA 4 racing has partnered with Nor Cal Rock Racing to acquire the Valley Off Road Racing Association (VORRA).
VORRA has been part of desert racing since 1975 and is responsible for great races such as the Fallon 250 and the Yerington 300. Current promoters and CEOs for VORRA Wes Harbor, Nor Cal Rock Racing John Goodby, and Hammerking Dave Cole completed the deal earlier this week and have been hard at work merging the 2016 race schedules together.
After completing the largest Fallon 250 in history, thanks to great collaboration between the VORRA and Hammerking staff, both organizations were excited to continue to work together.
The merging of these organizations will expand VORRA and Nor Cal Rock Racing events to include more vehicle classes. VORRA hosts traditional desert racing classes from Class 1 to Class 1600 as well as Full Metal, Mini Metal, and UTV classes. ULTRA4 Racing and Nor Cal Rock Racing have been more focused on ULTRA4s and UTV classes. This will give ULTRA4 teams the chance to compete in desert racing domestically instead of being limited to just ULTRA4 races.
