2016 Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame Nominations Now OpenPosted in News on April 1, 2016
Now is your chance to nominate a person for the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF) 2016 inductee class. There are tons of people that many consider the face of off-road, whether it’s for racing or helping the off-road community as a whole, and you can nominate them to get the recognition they deserve.
You can nominate deserving people for the ORMHOF in the following categories: Recreational (four-wheeling, motorcycle/ATV), Competition (motorcycle/ATV, off-road racing, rally, rock sports, sand sports), Pioneer (advocate, industry, journalism), and Special Achievement (individual, organization). If you know anyone that fits into one or all of those categories, get them on this year’s ballot.
After all the nominations are gathered they are sent to an independent committee made up of people from all over the off-road community, where a maximum of five nominees are selected from each category.
The 2016 ceremony will be held on October 31, 2016, at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas before the qualifying of the Baja 1000 and the always-popular SEMA Show. The ceremony is open to the public and tickets go on sale August 1.
