Behind The Scenes: Building The Next Generation Bronco Stunt - Video

Just last week we duped some of you with our April Fool’s joke: that the next generation Ford Bronco would use the Jeep Wrangler platform. While it might not have fooled all of you, it was still a pretty good rouse and certainly spurred a lot of debate across the internet.

To show you guys we really do have a heart, and not a black hole where one should be, we wanted you to see what went into making the awesome spy shots that we captured for our original story.

After gathering supplies at the local home center and heading to a top-secret location, a 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK was borrowed for an afternoon of tomfoolery. With our supplies, Jeep, and crack-team of builders, the 2018 Bronco transformation got underway.

While this may have been an April Fool’s joke, we really do hope the next-generation Ford Bronco comes back to the market and give the Jeep Wrangler a run for its money when it comes to off-road capability. Until we get word from Ford on if the Bronco will ever come back, enjoy the video of our creation below.
