Ford F-150 MVP Edition

Ford has built an MVP edition of the F-150 to commemorate the Kansas City Royals’ baseball championship. Just 300 of these trucks were made at Ford’s Kansas City Assembly Plant, based on the XLT model and painted either Oxford White or Blue Flame. The MVP edition also includes a spray-in bedliner, polished stainless rocker panels, and MVP badging.

The idea for the truck came from a Royals fan, Mark Lassalle, and is actually the second World Series edition built for the team. A 1986 Ranger MVP model was made to celebrate the team’s 1985 World Series victory. Ford is working with former Royals star Bret Saberhagen, from the 1985 team roster, and Salvador Pérez, from the 2015 Kansas City lineup, to promote the truck.
