Dirt Every Day is back for its fifth season staring right where they left off, building ridiculous vehicles and hooning around in the dirt. In this episode, Fred Williams challenges his old friend, Frank, to an epic drag race between his 1967 Ford F-100 Prerunner and Fred’s new-to-him Volkswagen van.

Fred starts off by picking up Frank’s Ford that hasn’t seen the dirt in several years and taking it to get a tune up and some mods so Frank can race it. While Frank actually has a truck to race, Fred still needs to find a van. In search of a competitive off-road Volkswagen van, Fred heads over to GoWesty to see what 4x4 vans they have for sale. Unfortunately for Fred, the time frame for a built 4x4 VW Vanagon is just to long, so Fred settles for a less-than-mint-condition two-wheel-drive 1989 Volkswagen Van.

Before the race can take place, Fred throws a lift with Fox Shocks and a set of 31-inch Mud Boggers on the rear for the ultimate in off-road racing performance. With Fred’s van all set to race and Frank’s F-100 all tuned up, thanks to the guys at VanCompass, it was time to race!

With the course set at the top-secret Dirt Every Day racing location, the vehicles were lined up and the dirt flew. Check out all the wildness from episode 49 of Dirt Every Day below.
