RAMY 4x4 2016 Jeep Wrangler Pickup Is All About That Single-Cab Life

With the custom vehicle and off-road lifestyle in Dubai at an all-time high, the team from RAMY 4x4 built a one-off Jeep pickup, named Excalibur, which is ready to take on the dunes across the United Arab Emirates. Excalibur is a single-cab Jeep pickup based on the JK platform, with plenty of performance upgrades for tackling even the most remote terrain and custom touches that let you do it in comfort and style.

To turn Excalibur into the cool pickup you see, RAMY 4x4 started with an already capable base—a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Sport—and began removing the rear seats, doors, and roof to make room for the bed. This was just the start of the conversion; once the bed was installed and the cab rounded off, the performance was improved. The 3.6L Pentastar V-6 was tuned with a Superchips tuner and a ceramic-coated Gibson exhaust and Rugged Ridge exhaust spacer were added, giving this Jeep the grunt to tackle the deep sand.

The suspension wasn’t left stock, either. A Titan Performance 2.5-inch lift kit and Fox reservoir shocks were added, improving ground clearance and making room for the 35-inch Yokohama Geolandar tires. Custom-cut fenders and a stubby front bumper were added to improve the approach angle and allow for tire flex. Rock sliders and a steel rear bumper were next, giving this Jeep truck extra protection for the sheetmetal. With the suspension and engine performance taken care of, RAMY 4x4 turned its attention to the interior, adding custom leather seats with dashboard accents and Rugged Ridge A-pillar accessory switches for a clean and classy appearance.

Excalibur is currently for sale in the UAE for a tick over $61,000, which isn’t a bad price at all considering you’re getting a custom, fully capable, solid-axle 4x4 truck. We’re not sure if you can import these stateside, but that sure would be awesome. For more information visit ramy4x4.com.
