Traxxas, known for the company’s high-performance radio controlled monster trucks, cars, boats, and helicopters, is partnering with Apex Motorsport Promotions to be the title sponsor for the Monster Truck Destruction Tour. In addition to sponsoring this action-packed tour, they will be adding a new competition. Monster truck drivers will step down from their 10,000-pound monster trucks and compete in a Traxxas R/C freestyle showcase. The showcase will test the drivers’ skills and handling the remote instead of the steering wheel and will add even more entertainment for monster truck fans.

The 2016 monster truck season is packed with excitement, including the fullsize versions of the Traxxas X-Maxx, Craniac, and Skully trucks that will be unveiled on tour and give fans a thrill with their huge horsepower, wheelies, and car-crushing abilities. These monsters will be on tour giving fans a freestyle show across 70 shows in 50 states and events around the globe.

If you can’t get enough monster truck action, you can take it with you thanks to the updated Traxxas Monster Truck Destruction Tour Game app this summer. This free game will let you drive all your favorite monster tucks without even leaving the couch. Tony Maderazzo, Traxxas MTD Tour COO, was pumped with all the new entertainment growth for monster trucks, saying, “We are very excited to integrate our live events, with both virtual experiences through the Monster Truck Destruction Tour game, and now interactive play through the Traxxas line of R/C trucks. This level of monster truck entertainment is unmatched by anyone else in the industry.”

If you haven’t been to a monster truck show in a while or if you’ve always wanted to go, now’s the time to check out one of these action-packed spectacles. For more information on when and where you can see these beats in action visit mtdtour.com.
