Yamaha Viking VI Raises $30,000 for SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Family FoundationPosted in News on May 16, 2016
The SEAL Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation (NSW) was able to raise $30,000 thanks to a Special Edition Viking VI side-by-side from Yamaha at their annual fundraiser in San Diego, California. The funds from the auction of this six-seat off-road machine with carbon metallic paint, aluminum wheels, a soft sun top, under-seat storage, and more will help support SEAL members’ families across the globe.
This is the third year Yamaha was part of this awesome event, having raised more than $70,000 for this great foundation. Yamaha ATV/SxS Marketing Manager Steve Nessl explained how thrilled Yamaha was, saying, “Yamaha is honored to continue its support of the SEAL-NSW Family Foundation going on three years now, especially considering their important mission. With the funds raised by the auctioned Viking VI SE going toward assisting the SEAL-NSW families who sacrifice so much for our freedoms, we hope the event and donor support continues to raise awareness for this respected organization.”
With the popularity of side-by-side’s and UTVs, we’re not surprised to see the Yamaha Viking VI raise a substantial amount for a good cause.
