The team at M-Sport in the United Kingdom is known for making custom vehicles that can handle everything from the dirt to the track. Its latest creation, the M-Sport Ranger, is built for taking on the dirt with ease by taking the performance of the legendary Ford Raptor and stuffing it into a smaller package.
Introduced at the Allrad off-road show in Germany the M-Sport Ranger starts its life as a 3.2 tdci-powered 4x4 crew cab before receiving plenty of performance enhancements. The team at M-Sport covered everything from suspension to appearance while still maintaining the classic good looks of the Ranger.
A Pedders suspension system improves on- and off-road ride quality and makes room for larger BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires without lifting the truck too much. If you need more clearance, an additional 1.75 inches of lift can be achieved with their optional suspension upgrade. A full undercarriage skidplate is available as well to keep vital components protected when hammering down on the trails. Night wheeling isn’t a problem either, thanks to the grille-mounted Lazer Lights and optional roof mounted lightbar.
A custom front bumper, matte-black trim on the doors, mirrors, windows, sidesteps, and tailgate match the 18-inch matte graphite wheels and give this Ranger a sinister look that is hard to hate. The front fender even features the Raptor-esque style vent, and the doors feature an M-Sport graphic completing the desired Ford Raptor look.
The interior wasn’t left out of the upgrades. A full leather interior with a leather center console and door panels offer drivers and passengers that classy and comfortable ride the Raptor offers. A sport style steering wheel completes the interior upgrades giving the driver a comfortable place to pilot this sweet truck from.
The M-Sport Ranger will be in full production by September 2016. Unfortunately for those Stateside, we won’t be able to get our hands on one, but don’t worry, the beloved Ford Ranger is coming back to the U.S. very soon.
