Normally K1 Speed tracks are reserved for zippy electric go-karts that whip children and adults around a twisty track. If you’re Carl Renezeder, you get to take your short course truck through the turns and straights with no slowpoke drivers in your way.

At a K1 Speed in Carlsbad, California, Carl took his Lucas Oil Off Road Racing (LOORRS) #17 PRO 4 truck for a lap we’ve all dreamed about: taking a vehicle with a ton of power and ripping it around a small go-kart track. Carl usually saves his tire shredding, pedal-to-the-metal driving style for the racecourse, but this time, he brought the speed indoors for on kickass ride.

With years of championship racing across the country, Carl was able to thoroughly test out what his truck could really do on the ultimate short course. Check out the video below as Carl fills the K1 track with burnt rubber, smoke, and a whole lot of power in one of the coolest things we’ve seen in a long time.
