Jeep has been celebrating 75 years of production all year introducing us its special-edition U.S. lineup earlier this year, and now our friends across the pond will be able to join the celebration in their own 75th anniversary Jeep Wrangler. The British will be able to enjoy 75 years of off-road performance with three versions of the limited-edition anniversary Jeep: Sahara, Rubicon, and Overland. These Jeeps will truly be limited edition, as only 85 Wranglers are destined for the UK.
The 75th anniversary Wrangler will have unique exterior styling cues including, a bronze finished grille and 18-inch wheels, a body-color dual top, unique bronze and orange badging, and will only be available in three colors, Bright White, Solid Black, or Sarge Green. The interior of the Wrangler didn’t get left out of the anniversary treatment, with a 1941 embossed on the saddle brown or black leather seats with tangerine inserts, bronze accents on the air vents and grab handles, and Mopar all-weather floor mats, it won’t be hard to remember you’re driving a special Jeep.
The best part for the British is the Wrangler is available with the 2.8L diesel engine that now meets Euro 6 diesel emission standards, lucky ducks. Not to worry we’re finally going to get the diesel Jeep we’ve been begging for stateside when the Jeep Wrangler JL goes on sale.
With only 85 of these limited-edition Jeep Wranglers making it to the UK, they are going to go quick. Prices start (USD equivalent)at $46,265 for the two-door version and $48,487 for the four-door version.
