AreaBFE, the 320-acre off-road park in Moab, Utah, has new ownership and new management, ensuring the park’s future for a while to come.
Robert Lucero, the park’s sole owner, has actually had a majority stake in the park since it was purchased in 2004, and he has now officially acquired 100 percent ownership. Lucero, who formerly competed in the Xtreme Rock Racing Association, will implement a management change at the park, prioritizing its free, fun environment while adding improvements. Insofar as we can tell, the park's campground, trails, and attractions will all remain, too.
AreaBFE will remain open to the public, and donations are accepted and help keep the park open and maintained. New trails are on the way, with improvements including an updated website, active social media, and events. In conjunction with the ownership change, Lucero welcomed Stage V Media to manage the park and cover any marketing needs.
Stage V’s leadership is comprised of many off-road enthusiasts, including owner Valerie Douglas, who uses her Twisted Customs buggy at the park frequently.
