California Four Wheel Drive Association Raffling Built JK Wrangler!Posted in News on January 13, 2017
The Jeep Wrangler JK is a pretty sweet 4x4 straight off the showroom floor. However, if stock just isn’t good enough for you, there’s ample support from the aftermarket to build the Jeep of your dreams. Thanks to the California Four Wheel Drive Association, for about the price of a fancy coffee drink you could get the chance to own a JK valued at nearly $60,000 outfitted with a laundry list of goodies that would get the attention of any serious off-roader. The organization will raffle a fully built 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK at its annual convention in Visalia, California in February.
Among the tasty treats on this JK are Poison Spyder Customs front and rear “Brawler” bumpers, Bombshell differential covers, body armor, grab handles, and shackles. The suspension gets updated with a MetalCloak “Game Changer” suspension and shocks and upgraded front and rear Dana axles, locking differentials and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A Ko2 tires on Raceline Avenger alloy wheels. The 3.6L Pentastar V-6 also gets a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust.
Other equipment includes a Warn Zeon 10-S winch with Spydura synthetic rope, a Factor 55 ProLink thimble, a PIAA LED lightbar, Spiderweb windshield shade, a Hi-Lift X-Treme 48-inch jack with Jackcovers protective case, and Alien Base Hi-Lift stand. Inside are an ARB Fridge Freezer, Tuffy locking cubby and center console, sPod six-switch pod, and Poison Spyder recovery straps and shackles. Raffle tickets can be requested for $5 each at cal4wheel.com/sweepstakes-vehicle. Proceeds will go toward efforts to keep California public lands open and accessible to the off-roading community. The drawing will be held on February 18, 2017, and participants need not be present to win. Second and third prizes are an Advance Adapters Atlas 2 transfer case, and an ARB Fridge Freezer.
