Celebrity racing driver and former Top Gear USA co-host Tanner Foust will drive a specially outfitted Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo EPS at the Mint 400 race this weekend in Las Vegas. Along with Foust, motorsport radio personality Jim Beaver and Women’s Canadian Motocross National Champion Jolene Van Vugt will share driving duties in the multi-day race. The RZR the trio will be driving is equipped with an HCR Racing custom long-travel suspension, internal-bypass King Shocks, a Gibson exhaust system, KC Hilites lighting, Impact five-point racing harnesses and nets, and 31-inch General Grabber tires on GMZ “Gunslinger” beadlock wheels, among many other upgrades.
In addition to his hosting duties on Top Gear USA, Foust is also known for his rallycross competition, drifting, X Games rally, and setting records in the Hot Wheels Double Loop Dare and a 332-foot ramp-to-ramp truck jump at the Indianapolis 500. Jim Beaver’s Down & Dirty radio show is syndicated across the U.S. and can also be heard on a podcast. Van Vugt holds multiple motorsports championships and works as a stunt driver in television and film.
The Polaris RZR that will be raced in the Mint 400 will also appear at three other events this year, the Polaris RZR UTV World Championship in Laughlin, Nevada, on April 13-15, the General Tire Vegas to Reno from August 18-19 and the Pahrump Nugget 250 presented by Supercross.com from November 30 to December 3.
