There’s something immensely rewarding and downright fun about packing up your 4x4 for the weekend and hitting the trails with friends. However, keeping those trails open and available for use by other enthusiasts requires a coordinated, ongoing effort, as neglect, littering, and irresponsible use can close these trails to future use, sometimes indefinitely. BFGoodrich is opening up nominations for trails for 2017.

Now in its 12th year, BFGoodrich is once again partnering with 4 Wheel Parts to recognize off-road clubs across the country for their preservation and advocacy efforts. To date, the program has awarded grants to 44 trails nominated by 41 clubs nationwide. New this year is the recognition of BFGoodrich as the official tire of Jeep Jamboree USA, a series of 30 events across the country taking Jeep enthusiasts on some of the country’s most scenic and noteworthy trails. Jeep Jamboree USA is donating an additional $4,000 to the Outstanding Trails program. Trails that are part of the Jamboree program are eligible for nomination.

Nominations will be accepted from April 17 through July 31, 2017. Nominations can be submitted at Trails will be selected based on uniqueness, terrain type, and enthusiast support. The winning trails will be announced at the 2017 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in November.
