American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) just announced that it is discontinuing production of TJ Brute Conversion Kit and TJ Highline Hood after its current inventory is sold out.

The AEV TJ Brute Conversion Kit has been the envy of many Jeep fans, as it transforms a Jeep Wrangler TJ into a pickup truck. The AEV TJ Highline Hood raises the hoodline to accommodate larger tires with less suspension lift. It’s designed to work as part of AEV’s Highline Body Kit, but some customers also use this hood with aftermarket or custom fabbed tube fenders.

AEV says that inventory is extremely limited for both TJ Brute Conversion Kits and TJ Highline Hoods, so you have to act fast, because once these iconic products are gone they’re gone forever. The company says it has a handful of both TJ Brute Conversion Kits and TJ Highline Hoods available to both AEV parts distributors and the public. TJ Brute Conversion Kits will be sold as complete kits only and no individual TJ Brute components are available.

More info is available at the AEV website. For what it’s worth, we’d love to see AEV continue production of all of its Brute products, especially since the Wrangler JL’s pickup variant is still at least two years out.
