Yamaha Continues To Support SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Family
Yamaha Motor Corp., USA, again provided a new Side-by-Side (SxS), the Viking VI Special Edition (SE), to the SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation (NSW) for auction at their annual fundraiser near San Diego, California.
Assembled in the USA at Yamaha’s Newnan, Georgia factory, the Viking VI SE raised $17,000 toward the organization’s mission of supporting SEAL members’ families. This marks Yamaha’s fourth-consecutive year of aiding NSW, totaling nearly $90,000 in funding for the much-deserved recipients.
The SEAL-Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2008 that raises awareness and funds for special programs in direct support of the NSW families on a local, national, and global scale. Further details about the NSW organization and fundraiser can be found at www.SupportOurWarriors.org and www.SealFamilyFoundation.org.
AMSOIL Named Presenting Sponsor For 2017 Torc Series
First in synthetics and first in off-road racing, Wisconsin-based AMSOIL returns as TORC’s presenting sponsor for 2017. The 13-round racing season marks the ninth year that the respected synthetic lubricants have backed TORC: The Off-Road Championship.
In addition to their long history with the TORC Series, AMSOIL’s generous sponsorship of drivers runs from the privateer Sportsman class all the way up to the premier PRO 4 class. The involvement has endeared the company to legions of off-road fans across the nation, while putting the brand out front of all the other lubricant companies. Joining AMSOIL in sponsoring the 2017 TORC season is Rugged Radios, Kenda Tires, Cooper Tires, Atturo Tire, Maxxis, Yamaha Racing, Vision Wheels, VP Racing Fuels, Racingjunk.com and Fuel Off-Road.
