Need an off-road-themed, end-of-summer excuse to mingle with fellow adventurers? American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is celebrating its 20th anniversary by opening the company’s Michigan Headquarters and production facility to the public on August 18.
AEV staff will be leading tours of the production facility where the iconic AEV JK350 and Brute Double Cab vehicles are brought to life. As you might know, the Brute Double Cab may have been an inspiration for the new 2019 Wrangler JT pickup, and this is your chance to see it up close.
There will also be prize giveaways, food from the Bigalora wood-fired pizza food truck, and beverages from Arbor Brewing Company and Baia Estate.
AEV began in 1997 soon after Dave Harriton bought and stretched the wheelbase on his YJ Wrangler. Since then, the company has expanded, now producing both fully outfitted expedition vehicles as well as entire suites of off-road parts and accessories for your personal adventure rigs.
Event Details: AEV Headquarters—51960 W. Twelve Mile Dr., Wixom, MI 48393 on Friday, August 18, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
