You think the angry eyes on your Wrangler have attitude? Rezvani upped the ante and built a rig that’s actually bulletproof.
Rezvani Motors, best known for building carbon fiber–trimmed supercars, has dipped a toe into the 4x4 pool. The Tank is quite a sight to behold, and we got to see it in person at the Off-Road Expo in Pomona, California.
At our first glance, the urban assault vehicle looked like a tactical FJ Cruiser with Jeep JK mirrors. If that was your guess, you were halfway there. The representative at the Expo told us to take a peek underneath, and what we saw was familiar. The frame appears to be grafted from a Wrangler Rubicon. Aside from the mirrors, the rest of the vehicle looks like a concept off-roader crossed with a zombie stomper.
Rezvani won’t say much about the Tank, but we do know that it comes with 3.6L V-6 and 6.4L V-8 engine options, the latter cranking out 500 hp.
For all those times you’ve needed thermal imaging and ballistic armor on the trails, Rezvani has you covered. That’s right, perhaps you’ve installed rocker guards on your rig, but can those deflect explosions? Nope. Kevlar in the body panels and across the gas tank make the Tank ready for the apocalypse, or the steakhouse parking lot. Think your LED lightbar is bright? How about thermal imaging? The Tank has that too.
What else does the Tank have? Likely a price tag with six digits, based on the asking price for the other Rezvani supercars. We also noticed it comes standard with two fake exhaust tips, because why worry about real dual-exhaust when you’re busy outfitting a rig for the end-times.
A cool $1,000 refundable deposit secures your spot in line for a Tank because yes, this is a real vehicle.
