The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 to Debut at SEMA #TENSEMA17Posted in News on October 27, 2017
Hennessey Performance is known for making fast cars go faster. Now, the company has taken a big truck—and made it bigger. The Hennessey VelociRaptor 6x6 adds two extra wheels and a $295,000 price tag to the ’18 Ford Raptor platform.
The selling point of the VelociRaptor is the 6x6 drive system, which adds an extra locking axle for unbelievable amounts of off-road traction. The VelociRaptor also includes Fox suspension components, all-terrain tires fitted around 20-inch black wheels, custom front and rear bumpers, a sturdy rollbar, and LED lighting.
Hennessey has power fully covered with the 600hp upgrade kit, featuring dual turbochargers, front-mounted air-to-air intercooler and plumbing, stainless steel exhaust system, and reprogrammed factory computer system. This upgrade kit is available not only in the new VelociRaptor, but also as an upgrade kit for your Raptor 4x4, to the tune of $22,500.
“Our VelociRaptor 6x6 is pure aggression on wheels—all six of them,” says Hennessey. “The new 2017 Raptor is going to be one of the best all-around trucks ever built. We are excited to help take it to the next level both in terms of performance and exclusivity.”
Hennessey will conduct the official reveal of the VelociRaptor at the 2017 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nevada. The 6x6 will also be available for order through Hennessey Performance or select Ford dealers.
