This week Vail Mountain will host the debut of a very unique snow machine, GMC’s 2018 2500HD Sierra All Mountain concept. The top-of-the-line GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali 4WD Crew Cab has been modified with Thule snowboard racks, Bose audio with Kicker accessories, a 30-inch Rigid E-Series lightbar, and custom-finished Mattracks 150 series tracks painted GMC red.

This rig is built to go anywhere in the winter while more than comfortably housing several passengers. GMC Exterior Designer Carl Zipfel says, “Mattracks technology enables the truck to conquer uncharted territory while highlighting premium interior features such as Bose speakers and upscale leather treatments.”

The Denali boasts impressive features both inside and out with a highly refined interior including all the bells and whistles, and a Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel powerplant pushing 445 horsepower and 910 lb-ft of torque.

This truck will remain at Vail Mountain all winter this year, while a sister concept of the vehicle will be displayed at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. GMC partnered exclusively with Vail Resorts for this ski season and will additionally be collaborating with the town of Vail and the Vail Valley Foundation throughout the winter for events. If you're heading to Vail Colorado this year keep an eye out for GMC courtesy vehicles, maybe if you're lucky you can skip the lift line and hitch a ride in this beast.
