The reveal of Lamborghini’s Urus SUV has been heavily anticipated since the unveiling of the Urus concept car at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show. In December Lamborghini confirmed there will be both a twin-turbo 4.0L V-8 and a 48V plug-in hybrid available for its new 4x4.
The hype machine at Lamborghini is hard at work, teasing anxious audiences with tasty bits and pieces of Urus news. This week they dropped a video preview of the Urus terrain mode feature entitled Neve, Italian for snow. Four-wheel drive in a Lamborghini may mean a more capable Italian luxury SUV, but to us what it means is best summed up by one word: rally. This clip reveals the terrain mode select switch for the new Urus which features six distinct driving modes. We are hoping that Lamborghini made a teaser for each one so that down the road we will have the opportunity to view the Urus in all of it's natural habitats, however for now we'll have to settle for this frosty treat. The Neve video left us daydreaming about ripping this beast through a frozen circuit of S-turns and snowy straights, and we’re sure that after watching it you’ll be in the same boat.
