Gibson Launches Black Elite Series for Late Model Jeep, Chevy, Dodge, and FordPosted in News on February 2, 2018
Gibson has long been a leader in the performance exhaust market. They’re known for making high-quality aluminized or stainless steel bolt-on exhaust systems that are performance enhancing and cost effective. In 2016 we installed a Gibson exhaust system on our 2001 Toyota Tacoma, and we've been very happy with it. This week they introduced their new product line, the Black Elite Series. It’s currently available for late-model Jeep, Chevy, Dodge, and Ford trucks and 4x4s. The best part of a bolt-on system is that most DIY mechanics who own a good set of tools can handle installation on their own.
The line features Gibson’s exclusive Suspended Flow Technology (SFT) muffler design that reduces sound pulses and backpressure for improved torque and horsepower. These exhaust systems feature T-304 4-inch stainless tips with premium black finish, applied with Gibson’s formulated process exclusive only to the Black Elite Series. This series pushes exhaust through manufactured high-quality stainless steel tubing and Gibson’s stainless steel Superflow Muffler, creating a unique and vigorously deep tone. The Black Elite Series is available for the Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan, Chevy Colorado, GMC Canyon, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Chevy Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon, Dodge Dakota, Ram 1500, Ford F-250, F-350, F-150, Raptor, and several more makes and models. Full application lines are available on Gibson’s website.
