Who isn’t excited about the upcoming release of the Jeep Wrangler Pickup? After four years of teasing and spy shots you’d think we’d have some official renderings of the future Scrambler by now, but alas, nothing official from Jeep has graced our inboxes yet. However, we do have these.
The staff at JeepScramblerFourm.com have put their heads together and combined their efforts to create these images of the upcoming 2019 Jeep JL Wrangler pickup based on spy photos, CAD leaks, and insider tips. To add a little flare to their renderings the Jeep Scrambler Forum artists included previews of what they believe the Wrangler pickup will look like in these classic Jeep colorways: Sarge Green, Hella Yella, Sting-Gray, and Firecracker Red.
Although we don’t have any official shots of the Wrangler Pickup from Jeep, we have seen it under wraps quite a few times. In 2015, we learned that FCA was planning to build a Wrangler truck; then in 2016 we caught our first glimpses of the new Scrambler in testing, dressed in black. Then again in May of 2017 we got ahold of some spy shots of the Wrangler Pickup out and about on a public road, and later in August we published some shots of it towing. Finally, in January of this year we got ahold of some of our most detailed spy shots of the Wrangler Scrambler yet. These renderings from JeepScramblerFourm.com seem to be pretty spot-on, and they’re getting us even more excited for when the Wrangler Pickup hits the market next year. Stay tuned for the latest news and updates.
