The Truck Show Podcast, Episode 5: AEV, Roadkill, and Truck GuruPosted in News on April 6, 2018
Following last week’s episode, which came to us live from the streets of Moab during the Easter Jeep Safari, hosts Lightning and Holman have retreated to the confines of the studio to bust out Episode 5 of The Truck Show podcast. It's live now, so be sure to give it a listen. If you’re just joining us, this brand new podcast, launched a month ago, focuses on light-duty gasoline and diesel pickup trucks (and some SUVs), ranging from brand new OEM factory trucks to full-blown custom builds. We’re talking lifted to slammed, street performance to off-road prowess, race to recreation, and everything in between. It’s fun, informative, and entertaining for both newcomers and those who live and breathe all things trucks.
Jay Tilles ("Lightning") and Sean Holman have managed to snag some pretty cool guests so far, and as long as they can convince these industry insiders and enthusiasts to keep answering their phones, they’re just getting started. In this week’s fifth episode, Lightning and Holman talk adventure with Matt Feldermann from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), get the behind-the-scenes scoop on Roadkill from none other than David Freiburger, and learn the ins and outs of show truck building and sponsorships from Cris Payne of Truck Guru. They also take a quick look at news from the New York Auto Show, including the Volkswagen Tanoak and GMC Sierra AT4, as well as dissect renderings of the 2019 Jeep Scrambler pickup. Oh, and don’t miss our youngest fan, Hannah, sing the intro!
