SCORE International Racing has announced its 2019 race schedule. The series has four events planned, all in Mexico along the Baja Peninsula. SCORE races attract entries from all over the world, making it one of the most popular series to compete in. Pro and Sportsman cars, trucks, UTVs, motorcycles, and quads are welcome to participate in every race.
The series will kick off April 3 with the 33rd SCORE San Felipe 250 held in the fishing village of San Felipe off the Sea of Cortez.
New to the schedule is the Lucerna Baja 400, which will be held in Ensenada September 18-22. The race will start and finish in front of the Riviera del Pacifico Cultural Center in the tourist district area of the town.
SCORE also announced a new sponsorship with Lucerna Hotels and Resorts. The company just built the Hotel Torre Lucerna Ensenada off Highway 1 in the north end of town. The company owns several locations throughout Baja and Mexico.
The Baja 500 will be held May 29-June 2, just as it traditionally has for 51 years. Closing out the SCORE race season will be the Baja 1000, dubbed the granddaddy of all races. The Baja 500 turns 51 and will be held November 19-24. Both races will start and finish in Ensenada.
