Jeep’s inaugural web series pitted three celebrities and their respective builders against each other, all vying for the Wrangler Golden Grille Award.
The six-part web series followed the celebs and builders as each took a stock JL Wrangler and customized it to their liking, trying to win the praise of the judging panel.

In the finale, all three vehicles were revealed and the winner was chosen. The Infatuation co-founders Andrew Steinthal and Chris Stang were partnered with AutoCraft NYC. The pair stood next to their Wrangler, which was customized with 35-inch tires, iPads in the visors, and a custom ice cream maker in the trunk.
Alex Rodriguez and West Coast Customs unveiled their Jeep, which was given the full Fab Fours treatment—complete with a Grumper, fenders, side steps, ViCowl, and roof rack. Rodriguez added his own touch in the center console, which featured a humidor for his prized stogies.
Maria Menounos and DCD Customs set themselves apart from the competition, first, by building upon a two-door Wrangler. From the custom half-doors and hand-painted dashboard to the 39-inch Super Swampers, polished-aluminum GenRight bumpers, and Warn winch, this Jeep was ready to please.
Judges agreed that Maria’s Jeep fit the three criteria of the competition—“Stoplight Quality,” “Captivating Interior,” and “Authentically Wrangler,” handing her and David Tonapetyan, of DCD Customs, the Wrangler Golden Grille Award.
While The Infatuation’s Jeep literally oozed cool (ice cream), and A-Rod’s Wrangler could hold its own at a show truck meet, we’re glad to see Maria’s Jeep take home the award and we sincerely want to see those tires on the dirt sometime soon.
