A recall has been issued for the 2018 Polaris RZR Turbo S UTV. The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the notice on August 27, 2018. The recall notice states the rollcage on the vehicle can fracture during a high-speed rollover. The recall involves models sold in Red and Blue with “Polaris” printed on the front grille and beneath both doors. “RZR” is printed on the rear fenders. At least 1,300 units are affected by the recall, which were sold by dealers between January and August.So far there have been six reports of rollcage failures. Anyone owning the vehicles involved in the recall is being asked to contact their local Polaris dealer for a free repair. Specific model numbers are Z18VEL92BR and Z18VEL92BK. Additionally, consumers can go to the Consumer Product Safety Commission website and enter their vehicle identification number (VIN) to determine if there is a recall on their specific vehicle.
