Chevrolet Adds Another Off-Road Truck to Lineup and Releases Pricing for the BisonPosted in News on November 10, 2018
Four years ago, Chevrolet announced the return of the Colorado. This popular midsize truck began immediately selling as soon as it hit dealers. Chevrolet says 428,792 Colorados have been sold in the United States since October 2014.
In September, Chevrolet introduced the 2019 Colorado Bison. The Bison features an AEV snorkel and all the off-road–capable equipment found on the ZR2. We now know pricing for the Bison will start at $48,045.
Chevrolet is expanding the lineup with an off-road Z71 Trail Runner.
“The success of Colorado helped reignite the midsize truck segment, which increased 27 percent from 2015 to 2017,” said Sandor Piszar, director of marketing for Chevrolet Trucks. “It changed what customers expected from a midsize truck, brought new customers to Chevrolet and has inspired competitors to follow Chevy’s lead.”
The Z71 Trail Runner will feature Chevrolet lettering on the grille, which was first introduced on the Bison. It also starts with the Z71 off-road package with added ZR2 underbody protection. Changes include stamped-aluminum front and mid skidplates. The truck features Goodyear DuraTrac tires.
If you are keeping track of the models, Chevrolet’s Colorado off-road lineup includes the Z71, ZR2, Bison, and now the newly introduced Trail Runner.
