Just in case you were stuck in the garage wrenching this weekend and missed the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo, we have you covered! We spent the weekend at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, amongst the hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of off-road fans. There was something for everyone whether it was overlanding, shiny show rigs, desert racers, or rock crawlers.
If you made it out, this is your chance to re-live the fun. If you weren’t there, read on to see some of the coolest sights and scenes from the show. Don't miss the MEGA GALLERY at the bottom of all the rigs and action from the show.
Back from the 2018 Ultimate Adventure was the Derange Rover complete with Cummins R2.8 engine, Falken tires, and laundry list of battle scars.
This 2:1 scale Willys Jeep has Cummins power, a 6L80 tranny, and 52-inch tires. Need we say more?
Can we please see this UTV out slaying the trails?
Overlanding rigs were many at the Expo, this Tacoma sporting a collection of expedition-ready equipment.
Smittybilt, Rubicon Express, and ProComp sculpted a mini Rubicon Trail course and were giving rides! Folks lined up by the hundreds to jump into a built Jeep JK and be chauffeured through the boulder-strewn course. Seasoned wheelers reclined in their seats and fans newer to the sport held their breath as the Jeeps flexed and crawled over the obstacles.
High-speed dirt action was brought by Dirt Alliance and other racers. UTVs, Pro Lite trucks, and more were seen flying over jumps and shredding tires at the Fairplex.
