Crowds packed Westworld of Scottsdale, Arizona, for the three-day International Off-Road & UTV Expo. The expo was a perfect opportunity to get some early Christmas shopping done. There were plenty of vendors on hand selling every product imaginable for side-by-sides and other off-road vehicles.
We are in the middle of what is considered the riding season, which runs from October to March. The expo is a perfect opportunity to find parts to upgrade your UTV. There were also other events like horsepower wars. This was an opportunity to get those souped-up UTVs on the dyno. A UTV built by Evolution Powersports won the event with 348.1 hp.
There was a freestyle motocross show and UTV performance demo. For your listening pleasure a UTV sound-off was held. Basically, it was a contest to push the decibels to the limit.
Several informative classes were held during the event—everything from learning what tire pressures to run to shock maintenance and suspension tips. Rugged Radios held a communication class running down the basics of proper communication and radio etiquette. KC HiLites presented everything you needed to know about lighting.
The show is expected to return to Westworld of Scottsdale in December 2019. As the side-by-side market continues to grow, so will the show.
