General Motors has unveiled the 2016 GMC Sierra pickup truck with updated styling, and new design elements, following the recent release of the updated 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500
The 2016 GMC Sierra features upgraded styling by way of a new front fascia and grille options at each trim level. The SLT grille styling is a modern and simple cross-bar design with chrome covering. The All-Terrain model features a blacked-out version of the SLT grille, giving this Sierra a more utilitarian look. The top trim level Denali features a mesh style grille that is dripping with chrome, giving the Denali a bright front-end that can’t be missed.
LED lighting has become main stream in the truck market and the 2016 Sierra is no exception. LED headlights, LED taillights, LED fog lamps and “C-Shaped” LED signature daytime running lights grace the updated sharp looking front-end. New bumpers front and rear round out the exterior styling upgrades giving the Sierra bold new styling.
Coming of their best-selling June since 2006, GMC’s recent generational styling upgrades have led to 12 consecutive months of year-over-year sales gains. The 2016 GMC Sierra hopes to keep that momentum going with the new design and upgraded features.
The new Sierra will be available late 2015 with more detailed information to be released as we get closer to an on-sale date.
