Jeeps we'd be proud to own.
We’ve brought you all kinds of Jeeps from this year’s SEMA show. Some we can all agree are cool, and some we can all agree might have had a monkey kicking the designer in the head in order to come up with the idea. Then, there were a few in the middle where all of us sort of looked at them, and said, yeah I can see why that is cool, but I’d never do that if I owned that Jeep. You got to see some cool military Jeeps, a whole bunch of JKs (there were a lot of them), but here are some of the really neat Jeeps we saw that fell somewhere in the middle of that 70-some-odd year range
SEMA isn’t where you go to bring your Jeep with new springs and shocks. No, it is all about over the top, and that might help explain some of the other Jeeps we showed you this week. But, in our opinion, there are no excuses for low-profile tires on a 4WD Jeep, and we just can’t see why a 4-door JK could possibly need that much more storage space. Be that as it may, while we might not build all of these Jeeps, at some point in time we have thought about it, and at any point in time we’d be happy to own all of them shown here. SEMA 2013 is coming to a close, but we did take lots of pictures, so there might be more SEMA fun down the road. More at jpmagazine.com
