Red Bull Frozen Rush
Reigning champ and Pennzoil-sponsored trophy truck driver Bryce Menzies pulled out all the stops at the 2016 Red Bull Frozen Rush powered by Pennzoil beating fellow Red Bull racer Ricky Johnson in the final seconds of snowy competition!

The cold temperatures of Sunday River, Maine were no match for Menzies and his #7 Trophy Truck. Bryce felt the pressure going into this weekend knowing he'd be once again racing against his mentor, Ricky Johnson to overcome the icy and powdery conditions of the slopes, but Menzies powered through and captured his 2nd Red Bull Frozen Rush win in a row.

Alumi Craft
Construction is nearly completed on a brand new truck chassis at Alumi Craft Race Cars. Alumi Craft builds open wheeled pre runners and racecars and has a long list of race wins and championship titles to their names. When some customers were contemplating a move to the 6100/Spec Trophy Truck classes, Alumi Craft responded with a truck design that incorporated their race proven design features but in a truck configuration. The 6100/Spec Trophy Truck class has exploded in popularity recently as every competitor runs a sealed crate motor that levels the playing field and keeps costs down.

John Cooley and Craig Hall from Hall Designs collaborated on the new truck. “We spent a lot of time on the computer taking the ideas in John’s head and putting them in CAD,” said Craig Hall, “I created the models and contributed some of my experience with several truck designs in the past to get the scale and proportions we wanted, John already knows what works for chassis and suspension designs.”
